There are a number of cells in a circle around the walls with a set of heavy metal doors interrupting them for one interval. These doors currently cannot be passed. Not all of the cells are full, either. Some are empty and dark--missing something? Or perhaps something else is needed to see what's inside--or perhaps just approaching the cells will do the trick. There are loud speakers hanging down from above. From them, there are chains attached and pulled downwards where they meet up and join forces with links of chains from the ground and walls to keep a battered and bloodied Arsene locked in place. Or more accurately, restricted in movement--only enough slack in the links to allow him to get as far as the cells' doorways.

Next to him is the unbound Joker--or it looks like Joker, anyway. Save for the golden eyes. He also seems unbothered by the three blue guillotines standing tall nearby. In fact, he seems to be puzzling over something while staring at them, but then as you move, he turns toward you… and smiles, looking happy to see you.

[a trio's leaving Tower and Arsene's chains seem to be stretched over toward The Fool's cell, but he's emerging from there, looking confused about this new development.

meanwhile, Shadow!Joker is going to stare at the other shadow!Joker from the mirror.]

You should know the answer to that. It's part of why you doubt a lot of the things that happened after that house, right? C'mon. What use is that?

[mirror!Joker sure is... gripping Mars' hand hard.]

[Maki doesn't notice the grip immediately.]

[Then Mars says 'OW' and she immediately whirls to point her gun at mirror!Joker]

[Ignoring whatever lover spat is going on over there to drag another Joker piece to the guillotine and lock him in. Oh, he still has a sheet. That'll be a good substitute for a bag over the head.]

Can we do this one at a time or do we have to grab three of these stupid fucking Shadows?

[Maki seems... slightly not okay, though she's clearly doing her best to hold it together.]

Mars told me you killed a Shadow.

[She still has her gun in her hand, which looks more intense than it did before, like maybe she used Harder They Fall on it. For a moment it looks like she's considering holstering it, but she glances over at the shadow convention and decides against it.]

Which I'm guessing looked like Joker. After some fashion.
